Random Acts of Kindness

Little acts of kindness can really go a long way. I’ve always heard of a “paying it forward” revolution that started a few years ago in South Florida that has really picked up. My university also had an extracurricular organization called R.A.K (Random Acts of Kindness) that was a very loving group of students who would give random hugs to strangers and promote kindness and good deeds throughout the university and community/

This past Thursday someone in St. Petersburg, Florida took it upon herself to pay for a stranger’s Starbucks drink. The kindness chain began and lasted for the remainder of the day with 378 Starbucks patrons paying for the stranger behind them in the drive-thru. What a truly amazing and heartwarming act to see.
